SuperCon's Finest, an interview with Ghost Shadow Studios, Alex Teston.

Equiped with skilled writers, artist, and a killer logo that seems better suited for Horror films, Ghost Shadow Studios(GSS) opted to take on a lighter approach to story telling . The company is taking a common theme,( what would you do if you had super powers?) splashing a little pizzaz on it, and creating stories riddled with comedy/ drama of massive proportions. Ghost shadow creates stories that not only focus arround the main character, but houses a venue for the expression of a rich ensemble of supporting cast as well.

Their flagship product (Torpidity), tells a story where superheros leave the fringe mystique of secret identies and embrace the spotlight of celebrity (honestly, who of us has not imagined "Hulking Out," in public, and saving the day; the world knowing who you are (so you can get your well deserved glory; after all it was your butt on the line!).

Image the opportunity to get the girl of your dreams, no longer imprisoned in your head and "wet dream fantasies", you can have her without batting an eyelash; you now have hot babes flocking to your side like depraved groupies (imagine the fun, then image if the story were real), clearly this isn't your typical out of sight "behind the Building", "Phone booth," Clark Kent, or spiderman Foray( this book gives spiderman's Cliché '" with great power comes great responsibility an up grade, With great power comes great celebrity"), this is every man's fantasy turned reality, and the audience gets to explore the consequences regarding the continued health of lifelong friendships hanging in the balance (all because of having super powers and celebrity). This Story is equipped with every mental nugget, everything except "The Giant Goldfish, a Massive Rabbit, and Jumping Whale crushing boats."

Awww, I was hoping for a little bit more in that interview. Though He did seem kind of nervous so I guess it's understandable. Hmmm Shame they all weren't there ay?

As a Marketer of Comics, the best part of my job is interviewing promising new companies and Ghost Shadow Studios just happens to fit the bill...I hope you enjoy reading this journal/video piece as I enjoyed making it.
