While trolling the isles and reviewing some of the fine works and talents at SuperCon this past summer, I almost neglected a young talent that exist right in our very own Indy Comic Creators Worldwide(ICCW) membership, Jeramy Hobbs. I've heard Jeramy's name in passing, but had no idea that his work was of such high quality, the art is classic Grunge and Punk mixed into a glue of current social elements...elements that affect or have affected almost every American within recent years.

The story of TRASH is one that is all-consuming, the characters are rich in genuine personality(which most stories lack), you will be able to relate to one or more of these characters...you will be able to feel the sincerity in the pencils as well as the storytelling. The story has a masterful introduction of the cast members, an introduction reminiscent of classic freeze frame motion pictures, which is ironic since this is a comic book.
The book is more than just panel after panel of meaningless art, the art complements the story; and what a story it is. Unlike many books that infuse the page with tons of art and leave you wanting more story, each page is stuff ed with literary nuggets that are bound leave you wanting more. If there is one book worth reading this year, I say it is Jeramy Hobbs, TRASH!
