ICCW Network October 2011 Update

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to touch base with y’all on what has been going on with ICCW and to update on those of you who are new with important information regarding the network.  So here goes.

Paid Membership – ICCW Network offers several levels of membership which are listed below.  You can click on the membership type to learn more about the perks of the membership and to purchase.

Silver Member

ICCW Network Small Press Distribution – I am going to alter what SPD is and how it operates in order to optimize how it works and what it does.  The one issue we have been having in building up a catalog to send to retailers is lack of content.  So I am opening the door to everyone, not that it was not already open, and make SPD a POD service where EVERYONE, fans, friends, family and retailers can order. Then when we get a good sized catalog of products built up I will really start pushing toward retailers.  That does not mean you cannot send your local retailers to the site to order books.  I would appreciate greatly if everyone took the initiative to do that. So here is how the site will work.

Publishers send SPD a print ready file of your book(s) to me or if you have previously printed with Comix WellSpring we
have your files and will work with those.

Customers will come to the site to order your books.

SPD will send those orders to Comix Wellspring for printing and the orders will be shipped from there to thecustomer.

SPD will be invoiced and will pay for the orders though the payment made for the books.

SPD will them pay publishers once a month the profit they have earned from the sales of their books.  Profit will be split 70/30, Publisher gets
70% while SPD gets 30%. 

Profit is calculated as follows.

Sale price – print cost = profit

ICCW Presents: DoDeca-Con – I am still in the stages of organizing the con and getting the website built.  I am also compiling a list of FAQ’s in order to answer the questions many of you have sent to me.  So if you sent me a question I am not ignoring you, I am gathering all information and will place it on the website and post here when the site is updated.  If you want to learn more about DoDeca-Con you can go here.

ICCW Comics Submissions – I have received some great submissions from members and I am still going through all of them.  So again, lack of information does not mean lack of action.  Just trying to get through all of them and give each one the time and attention it deserves.  I am hoping by the end of November I will have a tough decision to make.

Rampage Submissions – I would really like to get more people interested in being part of this.  As members I would love to hear thoughts and suggestions on what could get more of you involved in this.  E-mail me your thoughts at randy@iccwnetwork.com.
