So it’s review time, and Dragonstorm has hit the critics and the response has been less than positive. This review (and others),by no means will stop me from producing Dragonstorm (or Stormchasers) at all. The critics reviews are as sharp as Simon Cowell ripping the contestants on American Idol, and much like the winner of each season, I will listen and apply those critiques to the next performance or in this case issue.

They say the art is to stiff, so there will be a new regular series artist by the name of Joel Cotejar, he will illustrate issue #1 and you have already seen his work on the cover of the Zero preview. They said the colors were wrong, new regular series colorist Mike Summers will be jumping on issue #1 as well, you have seen his work on Stormchasers #3. They said there was not enough content, there will be so much packed into issue #1 you are gonna have to read it twice to make sure you didn’t miss anything.

What I am getting at here is that I listen and apply changes as best I can to entertain you as best I can on each issue. So you can listen to the critics and turn your back on Dragonstorm or you can stick with it and say “I’ve been reading Dragonstorm since the beginning and it just keeps getting better everytime”, and there will be a whole lot of people there to agree with you.

Now for those of you who like reading train wrecks just click on this link http://cinegeek.com/?p=2542 below to see what they said. Then come back next month and watch them eat their words.

Good crits are the best, we all need to grow and learn. never give up and keep going. one suggestion don't overwhelm with the content, you don't want to have to much now, find the balance. personally, i love characterization, make me like or dislike the characters, believe me the story will start to write itself.
do you have the comic on line i would like to read it too. all the best.

Thanks Ron I appreciate that, if I look at it like Dragonstorm is perfect people would have knocking on my door from the begining but its not. Truth is this is only my second project, I am still learning and these guys are showing me what I lack. So I can either cry in the corner or I can suck it up and step up my game, in the long run I put out a better body of work which brings the consumer back and keeps me in business.

I like the fact that you take the critism with grace, it is to be expected, however what is unexpected is how you react to critism; which you've done to perfection...keep up the good work.

P.S. if it makes you better then the critism was worth it.
