WTFC Needs a Colorist or Two

Posted on July 9, 2011 at 5:42pm 0 Comments

If you think you have the goods to be a colorist for What The Flux Comics, send your color samples to: EIC@whatthefluxcomics.com.

What we are looking for is sequential samples that show both your ability to flat a page and shade it as well.

What we pay:

10.00 - 15.00 per page. It may not sound like a fortune, but it is an actual paid gig rather than hypothetical money.

Deposits are paid 1/2 down and final on completion.

Thank you Larry, sometimes I am so over-anlytical and make things much harder than they have to be.  Maybe I just want my life to be more exciting and I make everything a challenge :)

Thank you very much, Spike, and I appreciate the kind words.  I wish I would have made a go of it back in the day, but better late than never.  That was a heck of a game, especially for creating charachters.  I am happy to join ICCW and I hope I can make a contribution!

Ok, I've tried to message you back three times but for some reason it won't send. lol So I guess I'll have to leave the message here:

Hi, Jarry. Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, I spoke to Debra a couple of times. She's a pleasure to converse with . :)

I'm affraid with my current work load that my page rate is $20 a page for full colors on sequential art and $15 as page for grayscale shading, but I'd be happy to do any colors you need for cover art or pin-up art for $20.

If you're interested in working with me for cover art or sequentials at my rates, please let me know and I'll color the test page you've attached.

I hope you have an awesome week!

I look forward to hearing back from you. :)

That sounds great, Spike. I'll hopefully be posting some of my art later today or this evening when I get the time (right now I'm on the way out the door, I have a crazy day planned as it's my only day off this week). Until then feel free to check out my deviant art page at: StacyRaven (dot) DeviantArt (dot) com . I have my single image rates posted there, but my page rates aren't posted there yet, as it can vary depending on the complexity of the project, detail of the pages, and the turn around rate expected. :)

Talk to you soon! I'm looking forward to working with you!
